We're Baaaaaaaaaackkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!

Long time not talk...
Also know as, too much life, not enough fun!!!

So here goes...

Michelle starts her first semester tomorrow... We realized this summer that this blog has brought so much laughter to us and our friends that we needed to pick it up again. Yes, it's fun writing it, but it's more fun reminiscing about the times we tried to fly a kite... fix my toes... and so much more!

Now, we have many new adventures with our new friend... MAX!!! aka, Maxi Poo, Maxwell House Coffees, Booger, and so much more!

We got Max when he was 20lbs in april!

This is him now! 40 lbs added...

He enjoys lying around, chasing after a ball (but only indoors) and chewing his raw hides / bones... Speaking of, this is where the adventures begin!

Today I thought it would be a good idea to take Max over to the tennis courts. (which btw is where all dogs feel the need to use the restroom, not just Rocco!) He normally doesn't chase after a ball, so I just tried to lure him by throwing his real bone... which consequently broke into a million pieces... needless to say, that trip to the tennis courts didn't turn out so well... we're just hoping that his lethargic attitude isn't because he ingested a piece of the shattered bone...

Today was a very good day... Michelle and I thoroughly enjoy backing, so after our Lo Bro dinner I made use of the new nail tools i got (se picture below) and sent Michelle off to Target so we could, as usual, bake on sunday night and create some Cake Pops!!!

Minus the few scratches... they turned out pretty well!
Cake Pops, Cherry Lemonade from Koolaid mix, and lots of music were to follow.
My Cake Pop holder contraption did not work very well...
YUMMY!!! Cherry Lemonade!!!
Michelle really liked the lemonade!

Well, all that being said, We hope to bring you MANY stories that will fill your day with laughter!!! :)

If this was ice cream, it would have been melted by now...

We clearly have forgotten about the blog!

The semester is only half over?
I guess the 4th year at USI can take a toll on some people...

Well, we obviously have not had too much free time on our hands! Between classes, work, a puppy trapped in a big dog's body, and all the other chaos being a college kid brings we haven't had much time to update our blog lately...

As always, TONS of funny things have happened. This time, we're going to share with pictures!!!

We definitely do not lack in personal hygiene when we're super busy!

Silly little pranks keep us going!!! this one's called "operation yellow card" :D

I think this one is pretty self explanatory... another one of those late nights and
Courtney had another crazy idea!

Rocco loves playing tennis. It's a good stress reliever for his owners... chuck that ball with ally our might!

The Olive can won...

Courtney's artwork takes over the apartment!
But Michelle is okay with it... it brings color into their lives!

The chair apparently was too much for Michelle to handle...

with all the homework they do, Rocco's gotta get his bonding in somehow!

Words with friends, without seeing?

soup kitchen?

and this is what college, being busy, and art does to someone!

lots of GREAT dinners from some awesome cooks this semester!

of course there is always time for some football!

macbook fun :P

just a glimpse of the craziness!

Hope you enjoyed :)

One Size Fits Two

I believe everyone at some point in their lives have wondered, "can two people fit in that one pair of pants?"

Well, This question we asked ourselves became reality. As I stuck two legs in one leg in a pair of shorts I said "michelle, We have to try this!" A couple minutes later, we were both on the floor with a very stretched out pair of shorts. No, we did not succeed.

It's been a long three weeks of school, but as always there is plenty of laughter coming from 1128 getting us through all the chaos of school and life.

So, the first round of laughter came from a can of black olives... Amongst all the art projects I decided I needed something to snack on. Needless to say, the can opener didn't do its job very well. By trying to fix the mess it created I managed to slice my finger open and spend more than an hour at urgent care getting stitches... The dog did not give me the comfort I was looking for amongst the blood covered paper towels. and Michelle, well Michelle kept asking me "are you ignorant?" since than, she's been told to synonym the word. :) I think an electrical can opener is a soon to be must have.

Rocco brings plenty of laughter to our live as well. He seems to be just so cute that we can't yell at him when he eats the blinds, bowls, curtains, socks, etc. He's a good friend to have around amongst all the chaos. He keeps things lively around here.

Michelle had a sick car. She told me this after we made a foolish trip to Autozone to get me a windshield wiper. (don't try to remove a frisbee from your windshield with your wipers) Her check engine light was on for quite a while. While having conversation with a neighbor, she decided that the hood of her car would be the best place to relax. In the midst of her sitting a huge popping sound came from the hood. The next day she informed us her check engine light was off. Need your car fixed? We know how to do it!!! hahaha... kidding...

Well, It's been nice catching up and updating the blog...

I'm going to end with this... "If God pulled us over right now He'd be like "WHAT ARE YOU DOING???"

Looking forward to bringing you more laughter :)

Special Olympics!!!

SO Much happened in such a great weekend!!! so instead of reading, you get to see it like a picture book!

The morning started off with us waking up at 5 and driving to Terre Haute. Michelle and I followed the buses on 41 until we temporarily (and by that I mean for an hour) lost the buses while we stopped at the bank!
Luckily we were able to catch up. We were sitting on pins and needles the whole time, afraid we might screw up our first task! and that was GETTING there!

Some were more excited than others to be riding on the bus bright and early! Michelle and I definitely had to rock out to ke$ha to stay awake on that early ride!

The pool the athletes got to swim in was cold! While I was timing they kept telling me it was freezing and my response always was "they make it that way so you will swim faster!!! :) "

When they were not swimming they were sitting, and playing DS's, singing to Lemonade mouth, eating junk food, wondering around (when we were not looking), taking long bathroom breaks, stretching, getting medals, sleeping, looking like they were going to cry (Michelle), coloring, and so much more!
Olympic Town!!!
Stretching :)
Lemonade Mouth Jam Session!

There was some free time for Olympic Town, Napping, and Medals!!!

and THIS is what some had to say about swimming!!!

Cole taught me how to do the wave and the robot, while Ronnie danced with Amber!

We just had a little bit of SOVC spirit!!!

The athletes needed some rest....

But the coaches might have needed more :)

This is how I felt a few times.... :) And this is how I felt about THAT girl :)

I can't even begin to explain what a FANTASTIC job these two did and what great people they are! If they were not busy taking care of our athletes they were busy helping someone else out! They really are a great example for those around and care so much about the well being of the swimmers!!!

So the best way to sum the weekend up would be with these two pictures...

ny = my :)
Wouldn't be a true text if it was spelled right!

So between all the chaos, exhaustion, heat, girls with very loud voices, being lost, people waking you up by doing flips in their beds (Michelle), not being able to get heat sheets, trying to find the right place to put your swimmer, preventing sugar from going in drinks, millions of sub sandwiches, broken cars, locked in room keys... All that was made up for when we got to see how happy those athletes were when they got their medals and ribbons!

Love, Courtney and Michelle :)
